Went fishing in 75.2 degree Carnegie Lake yesterday evening on a cloudy, cool day before thunderstorms. Wind was strong west. Few people were there. The Spring Semester ended at Princeton University. Only a few boats were on the lake. After I threw out a can of corn for chum, I caught nothing on small jigs. Lost a lure on the bottom of the lake. Fished my flood spot because of the high water. When I started getting nibbles on my homemade corn meal bait, I stopped jigging. Only caught a musk turtle on my carp bait. That's 13 turtles that I caught this year. Lost 1 fish, probably a golden shiner. I may try other spots before I return to the lake.
