  • Went fishing 🎣 in 52 degrees Carnegie Lake this afternoon on a warm, cloudy day with a light west wind. Threw out corn 🌽 for chum, then caught nothing with canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 bait. Only had one bite at night. Caught a shiner with my hand when I arrived at the lake, then caught and released a largemouth bass with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line. Looks like corn 🌽 bait doesn’t work in cold water. I will switch to red worms 🪱 soon.
