This is the missing link that completes my mission of playing on a true 7 piece set of Yamaha Stage Custom Advantages! That fill in tom was either a Slingerland or a Ludwig and I will see to it that it finds a loving new home.

This is the photo of my "NO LONGER unofficial" 7 piece drumset. You see, I bought a Ludwig 16" floor tom for $30 and took all the unnecessary paint off of the hardware (except one of the rims, i just left it alone--taking an excessive amount of paint off all these pieces was A PAAAAAAIN!! ugh). This past Monday, i bought the final missing piece to my set, a 16" Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage floor tom which was shipped out yesterday. Since the heads were only used for a short time, I took them off the other floor tom and when the missing link arrives, it gets an Evans EC2 batter head and a G1 resonant head on the bottom. I'm just waiting to hear the vintage tone on that baby when it gets here and gets tuned up!

Here is the lower rack toms before I got my 13" mounted tom--also Stage Custom Advantage. In the center of the two rack toms is my 10" splash and on the right of that is my 18" crash. The suspended floor tom is a 14" with the 20" ride sitting beside it.

This is the right of the set (or the left from the performer's view) with my 14" Fast Crash, 16" crash and 14" hats--all part of my Zildjian A-Custom setup. The rack toms, you see are the 10" 12" and 12". I'll explain about the current changes as we go along.

Here is the most explosive snare in audio volume that I've purchased. I got this and the 13" snare before I got my Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage kit--which came to the musical family not too long afterward. The Russ Miller Wedge shortly followed after the set. Then came the 6.5 x 14 snare because I was able to feel where funk style would fit in the gospel music that I play in Pittsburgh.

5.5x13 Yamaha snare with (as stated when they promoted these snares) Philipian Mahogany--sounds good but don't go crazy about the shells when you read or hear that, everyone.

14x6.5 Yamaha steel snare. Used only for funk-without rim shots for the mail rhythm.
