"Baptized in Fire" comes off his upcoming LP 'Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.'
Kid Cudi and Travis Scott trade fiery verses on "Baptized in Fire," the latest offering off Cudi's new full-length. It's a dark, slow-going track hinting at Kid Cudi's life struggles.
"Nightmares kept a nigga from closin' his lids," raps Cudi. "Since a kid, I've been haunted by visions of death."
Last month, the rapper made his personal issues public when announcing that he was entering rehab to get help for "depression and suicidal urges." A couple of weeks ago, he thanked fans and friends for the support and noted that he felt "brand new."
"Baptized in Fire" is now available on iTunes and is being streamed via Complex.
Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin', which also features André 3000, Pharrell, and Willow Smith, is set to come out December 16.
