Macro photography | Close up pictures of live insects | Detailed macro pictures
Macro photography of live insects. Have been experimenting with some close up photos of live insects out in nature. It is really fascinating to be able to get some detail pictures of bugs such as the eyes of a jumping spider, pollen on a ladybug, a bee exploring a blossom. The details of a jumping spider are very interesting, from their 8 eyes to the colour and style of their hair. They are very curious but are also great models to take macro pictures of.

Art Hack #1 DSLR Camera External Power Supply Thought I would share some tips and tricks on the blog every now and again to give you some behind the scenes information on projects and the creative problem solving that is required to complete them. Whatever creative project I am working typically begins from scratch and there are numerous roadblocks along the way that occur during the process. Have been busy on a number of projects lately. Most recently wrapping up a collaboration project between The Wretched End and myself. This is the second music video collaboration between us, the first video being 'Death by Nature' from the album 'Inroads' released in 2012. The Wretched End are based out of Norway.

Fear & Anxiety Art Series Fear F*cked & the Oslo Terrorist Attacks of July 22 2011. My personal examination of Fear and Anxiety and the psychology of the modern individual. Depicting these states of consciousness through this visual art series entitled Fear F*cked.
As stated in an earlier post, I try not to include huge explanations of my work as to not force the viewer into any preconceptions. Unfortunately, just having pictures of my work here, with no other explanation seems to be too vague and a bit of a disservice to the viewer and myself. Some projects such as Fear F*cked series do not fully come across with out a back story and a little understanding of the complicated events that surrounded that Norwegian exhibition. This series and other projects have been published in foreign magazine interviews, some in English, others not. It maybe wishful thinking to assume that each viewer will read older blog posts and gather all the information from outside sources.
