HaLong Bay , a bay of wonder, is one of the most impressive landscapes in the
world with thousands of islets and islands scattered throughout an area of 1500
sq km, and located only 170km North East of Hanoi. The local people use their
imagination to flow the spirit into those mindless, timeless limestone and
rocky islands, and make them lovelier, livelier and attractive with names such
as: fighting cock islet, human head islet, golden tortoise and Ha Long itself,
means “descending dragon”. Ha Long also has many grottoes that are worthy of
visiting such as: Dau Go grotto, Thien Cung grotto and Tam Cung grotto. Amazing

Nha Trang never loses its appeal to tourists with its
immense beaches and beautiful islands. However, this time when we visited the
coastal city we chose to have a one-day eco-tour to Nha Phu Lagoon.
The lagoon is located in Ninh Hoa District which is 15km
north of Nha Trang City and it is where Long Phu Tourist Company major in
organizing tours to the lagoon to visit three islands named Hon Thi, Suoi Hoa
Lan and Hon Lao (also known as Dao Khi or monkey island).
A bus will pick up tourists at 8 a.m. in the morning to
depart for Nha Phu. After an hour tourists will arrive at a wharf for a
20-minute boat ride to Hon Thi where they can feed ostriches and take pictures
with spotted deer.
Tourists can leisurely discover gardens and farms on the
island for around 20 minutes before coming to the second destination of Suoi
Hoa Lan after a 30-minute boat ride. But travelers hoping for another Vinpearl

Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh is expected to stun
holiday-makers as various tours to explore the beautiful bay will be launched
this summer.
Vice Chairman of the provincial
People’s Committee Do Thong said on May 22 that three tours discovering Ha Long
Bay – Hon Xep park, Vung Duc – Hon Xep park and Cai Rong port – Minh Chau
island will be offered during the upcoming holiday.
Besides, visitors can stay overnight in Hon Xep park, Van Canh island area and
Lo O, he said, adding that three inland waterway routes to these destinations
will also be opened soon.
The provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Culture,
Sports and Tourism to work with the Transport Department, local police, the
management board of Ha Long Bay and travel agencies to popularise the tours
while promoting the image of Bai Tu Long Bay.
