    Food Of The Day Chicken Butter Masala 1. Marinate the chicken using paste made with salt, chilli powder, lemon juice, ginger, and garlic. Set aside for 2 hours. 2. Cook tomato puree, red chillies and diced onion for 5 to 6 minutes and then grind the mixture. 3. Heat oil and butter in the pan, add the ground paste and sautee till oil separates. 4. Then add garam masala, cashew paste, marinated chicken, and curd. 5. Cook for 10-15 mins on medium flame. 6. Garnish with fenugreek leaves. 7.Serve hot.

When the tomato puree dries up, add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Let the spices cook. Add chicken pieces into the masala. Stir well and cook till they are golden brown. Add 1/2 cup of water and stir. Cover with a lid and let it simmer till the chicken is cooked. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
