the lawsuit to have all of my songs that were stolen, plagiarized, or otherwise used without my knowledge & consent in digital or any other form by persons living & dead to take down, cease & desist on all websites or otherwise has begun. what this means is a former band member who has published my songs & performances as his own & removed my name as sole author, writer, composer, arranger, performer has begun. to be clear: anything published under the name Social Parasite, Serpent Assassin, "Joe Degraffenreid", or otherwise that does not properly give these credits to me & who has published them in any form without my signed written consent, has attempted to steal & plagiarize my personal & sole intellectual property, including & not limited to the songs, performances, art, logos, trademarks, band names, concepts, etc. The names Social Parasite & Serpent Assassin are my sole intellectual property. all copyright & publishing violations will be prosecuted with extreme prejudice. NO TOLERANCE & NO MERCY.

This is the only valid version of SOCIAL PARASITE with the two founding
members. SOCIAL PARASITE cannot exist without both founding members
& calling any band by that name does not make it real or genuine,
but a plagaristic cover band. Joe was my friend & has sadly passed
away this week. As the principal songwriter in the band, I greatly miss
him but am thankful for the time The Universe graciously lent this
wonderful talent to all of us. I have sole stewardship of the legacy of
all work done in Our Name & intend to perpetuate the body of work I
composed & performed together with my musical soul brother Joe for
the rest of my life. He was taken too early, too young & nowhere
near his peak potential & deserved a wider audience. I intend to do
my best to make sure more people can discover & enjoy Our efforts by
keeping Our legacy alive & vibrant.
