Hi Guys,So my printer is broke. I need to replace that CD player in my car and I need a couple of tires. If I was running for office I'd be asking you to send me $3 to stave off the apocalypse (the other guy getting elected)..But all I want is for you all to show up to one of my shows. Drink or eat and have a good time. I won't raise your taxes or close your schools. I won't get in an argument with some foreign land or take away your pension.You can't make a mistake by coming out to one of my shows.If you are still nervous, you can actually come in disguise.This Friday, 10/31 9pm Halloween, you can dress up and come out to FULLER'S PUB. You may even win a prize. My set may stink like decaying pumpkins, but you can occupy yourself with making new friends, A really friendly Chicago bar. Going to have a 50/50 raffle for Leukemia, but that's all. Buy a CD or visit my new tip bucket to help me with my world of woes, but that's it! It has been a year since the record release for "JOHNNY LUNCHBUCKET". We are working hard on the net studio album, but in between....
Put together a live album of stories and songs - just like you heard them at one of the 70 or so shows that I have been doing every year since the 2003 release of "LANDFILL".. Some folks wanted to get a recording of the stories with the songs, so in the lull between releases, I put together NO 2ND RIDES.
Good to have a celebration once a year anyway. Hope you'll join me at one of the shows.
FRIDAY 8/8 at Fuller's Pub 3203 w. Irving Park Road in Chicago. 9pm. I'll be playing long and hard. Jim and Sue Fuller run a real Chicago bar. Hearts of gold and friendly. You'll only be a stranger once. Annie will be tending bar or hanging out. Inexpensive drinks. No credit cards or food. There is an ATM and maybe we'll order a pizza of two for you. There's no stage and we set up in front of the dartboard, kind of like all those place we played way back when. So manremove
