I often see where guys say things like, "I need a woman (normally a derogatory term in place of woman) who will 'hold me down' while I'm in jail. (or who will ultimately be an accessory to his criminal endeavors while he's trying to prevent getting caught and going to jail)My questions are: How are you holding her down if you are in and out of trouble? You're never there! Who's protecting her and the kids (if there are kids)? Who's helping to take care of the home, contributing to the most, if not all, of the bills? What kind of holding her down is it to put her in danger from the repercussions of your foolishness?The biggest part of being there for someone is actually BEING THERE. Out there being a fool, mooching off of your woman, you don't need someone to "hold you down," you WANT somebody to be a MOTHER to you, cause a MAN is going to work his hardest to take care of his woman! I don't know why I felt the need to say that, but it needs to be said. Peace and blessings.
