OneDuo was started by Mike Scimeca. Mike Scimeca's dream began at the age of 9, when he was initially exposed to the art of DJing. From that moment on he knew his destiny was to become a famous DJ. Through his older cousin he began to learn the basics of beat matching. It didn't take long for him to become addicted to it. In 6th grade, Mike begged his Mother and Father to buy him a mixer and CD players as a christmas present. After getting his wish he went straight to work. He started to utilize his talent, skills and passion, not only in beat matching, but also in beat juggling and producing. With the help of some well known DJs and a great work ethic, he began mastering the trade. He initially began working as a party DJ, but quickly wanted to take his talent to the next level. He continued to improve his skills as a DJ and entered the club scene in 2008. He graduated from playing at small Bars and parties to high-end venues and super clubs such as Pacha NYC, GLO, Bianco, Shy lounge, Radio, and Crazy Donkey
