Dear Facebook friends I have been involved in a play for the last year, called Wildflowers in the Median. It is a true story written in a book by Agnes Furey of Tallahasse, whose daughter and grandson were murdered and her rise above this tragedy to be a catalyst for restorative justice. Her book was written into a single act play by Wakullas playwriter Herb Donaldson. We debut in Tallahassee, Wakulla and Colquitt, Georgia. Now we are going to Salem, North Carolina for the National Black Theatre Festival. We need your,support! This is a story that called to our hearts. I play the role of WISDOM!
The production caught the attention of the French documentarist, Yann Arthur-Bertrand, HOME. They have interviewed Agnes and the cast for their next doc.
