from Stacy williams: Update to the Takilma neighborhoodAlthough the fire activity has subsided we are not out of the woods yet We Just attended the briefing in Selma and fire crews are still getting in place to take actionCurrently there are very few resources for this size of fire. It stretches all the way from the headwaters of sucker creek to the tunnel fire that still needs to be lined. Indirect fire lines have been put in but the fire has not reached many of them yet. Please be aware the fire is still potentially going to come to the valley floor. Currently the focus is going to be preserving life and property. Fire is capped now ... crews are working hard to get lines in so let’s keep off Takilma rd and let them do their jobs. Watch out for weather change if the smoke lifts and column collapses it could push fire everywhere. We are in a very dangerous unprecedented situation.
