Show moreIt was a very long time ago after a hot day of some adventure. Sitting in a friends place talking, drinking and so on. The wailing strains of "Crazy Mama" cut through the atmosphere and immediately created a new one. From that moment on JJ Cale was part of my life. I'd not heard this music before but instantly knew it, loved it and needed it. After the "cassette" had ended for the tenth time (requested by me) The owner (Trisha) hit the eject button, tossed the tape to me and she said "It's yours". I played that thing until it was unplayable. From then to this day JJ Cale has been a key component of life. Shared with family and friends, dogs and cats.It's all been said but here goes... The easy laid-back sound sounds so easy but we all overplay when jamming along. Put the guitar down and let the band play. No more notes are required.
