I'm being evicted from my home of 5 years by a truly heartless and evil slumlord so he can make not even $200 more a month from a new tenant. He has singled me out as a single younger tenant that doesn't seem to have a big support system and hassome mental health issues. There has been nonstop harassment, fake complaints, constant requests to invade my home, employees allowed to vandalize and steal my property, and other cruel mistreatment. I've never missed a rent payment, but I have been refused when trying to pay. For the longest time, the lie was about my dog's breed being an insurance issue and that it was going to compromise the entire building, but in WA, entire liability for anybody's dog falls exclusively with the owner of the dog, and landlords are protected completely. Besides this, not only is my dog a service dog, as I am entitled itoi one, but there is another tenant here that owns a purebred pitbull who has not been told anything or threatened with eviction.
