Hi Jeannie. It's Niall who cleaned up the Troubadour album back in 2008. I thought I'd get in touch again as I have had another go with even better results. In a moment of ingenuity I tried cleaning the vinyl with coconut oil, which worked a treat, and got rid of a lot of grit, removing a lot of scratches - especially the awkward ones on the solo vocal tracks. Also in the last few years I've become a lot more skilled in the use of the restoration software, and have upgraded my facilities. I now have a direct drive turntable with quartz crytal accuracy and a USB straight into the computer. I digitised it at 32 bit 96 KHz so it captured everything. This version sounds so pristine you'd think it was direct from the original analogue master. I'd like to send you a copy of this. Please get back to me soon.Cheers,Niall
