JULY 26 Duly Noted-Painters ”We work paintings until they can no longer be advanced. We start with an object, figure, poetic reference, or a vision. From there the painting gets its roots and is born. Like a child we give it life, nurture it to the point where it starts to think and make decisions on its own. When it reaches the point where we can not help make it stronger then what it is, only then is it complete.” Come out to the Brookland Jazz Series vol.1 and meet these ground-breaking artists. Their joint work will be on display in the main gallery. If we're lucky you might even get a peak at some of the resident artist's personal studios!
