On the fast track – Studio Report 3.0 Here we are. One step ahead, towards the rest of this path. Saturday it was Riccardo‘s turn to get in the game and for sure he was up to the task! Having set all parameters on previous occasions, in a few hours he finished all the bass recordings. That was really great! However..working together with Graziano is a great pleasure. He really is a serious and qualified sound engineer, who’s helping us to do our job well and with the right timing. There’s more. Now we are also aware of something else: The approach to this type of work must be done with extreme humility and taking advice from those who have experience is useful to all. A tough nut to crack – Studio Report 2.0Fresh news from Ueickap Studios? Here they are: This time it was Daniele‘s turn to help Graziano working on the drums. They continued with the editing work, an intense and important step in order to go on with Riccardo‘s bass recordings. It’s not always a simple matter when you define tone, sounds and dynamics. Fortunately, when your job is helped by those who got ability, knowledge, experience and taste, the trail becomes easier and walking is a pleasure. Fact is that the road to the headquarter of our sound-engineer Manuele is quite long…and that’s the reason why Daniele’s car (“Aubergine”, as Luca lovingly calls it, because of its shape and color… ) has been heavily bombed during all the journey with songs of Gojira, Ihsahn, Elio e le Storie Tese, Death and also with the mental and musical trips of our Gianni. In short, our “Epis-Team” is strongly alive and kicking. We’ll keep you updated…see you this Friday at Chakra.

The work in Studio is getting harder, but there’s only one truth: undoubtedly, the real first step towards the achievement of our aim is the recording of our debut album. Therefore it’s right and good to see all this practical and psychological effort. So be it. Well, since a few days we’re working “full-immersion” on pre-production. Daniele has already finished recording drums, so his activity in the studio is now reduced to supervise the editing work done by Graziano. We gotta fill ourselves with patience and good will, in order to be strong, effective and operative! Saturday afternoon Riccardo has begun the bass recordings as well. We know that we’re still very far from the final result, but the “creature” is just taking shape…and this is pumping us a lot, especially ’cause it’s bringing us to do a better work, looking forward to achieve a common goal.
