NEW SINGLE ROCK 'N' ROLL SCARS
Ember’s Flame will celebrate Valentine’s Day, Feb 14th by releasing new single Rock ‘n’ Roll Scars. The song has been co-written by the band, Andy McCoy Official (Hanoi Rocks, Grease Helmet, Iggy Pop etc.) and Jere Garcia (Grease Helmet, Accu etc.).
”Rock ’n’ Roll Scars includes nostalgic vibes, full scale of experiences and dreams: life in it’s full! The story emphasizes the importance of all experiences, even the bad ones. Even though there is a fair share of history in the lyrics we are not aping e.g. classic 80’s sound or anything. That stuff has been well done already. We are rather aiming to sound timeless and recognizable ourselves”, is said from the Ember's camp.
Producer Andy McCoy describes the creative process in the introductory video of Rock 'n' Roll Scars in YouTube: ”We added piano and stuff. It’s just so pretty. It’s basically an old chord progression, but we found something new in there. It’s my personal favorite from E
