This year is going to be packed full of special events for everyone to enjoy. In addition to our reunions, usu...al sing-alongs, and light-hearted shenanigans; Current frontman/singer of Blind Melon, Travis Warren, has cordially agreed to join us in celebrating. As if his attendance were not already exciting enough, he is set to play an acoustic show for us on Friday, at the historic Knickerbocker Saloon!! He also plans to attend the annual Vigil on Saturday as well! As there has always been in the past, there will be the heavily anticipated, fantastic shirts for purchase at the Vigil- so budget accordingly. Come out and celebrate with plenty of Hoon fans, as well as Shannon's gracious mom, Nel, who has been known to hand out heartfelt (and often handmade) gifts, so consider arriving early. Join family and friends in celebrating the life and music of the late, great Shannon Hoon, of the band Blind Melon, at the Annual Shannon Hoon Vigil and Vigilstock show. The Annual Vigil is held in the Dayton/Fairfield Cemetery, Hwy 38, Dayton, Indiana on Friday & Saturday, the weekend of or before Shannon's birthday, September 26th, with the Vigilstock show on the Sunday following the Vigil. This year's Vigil will be September 20th & 22nd, 2013, with Vigilstock 11 on September 22nd at "The Hideaway", 3269 Teal Rd, Lafayette, IN. More info tba. Hope to see everyone there!
