Il progetto “Shelly webster trio” nasce nel 2000 con l'idea fissa di fare
musica in maniera non convenzionale, sperimentando con i vari generi e modi di
comporre, senza remore ne paragone, con l'unica convinzione di poter creare un
calderone magico dove poter mescolare di tutto, un meltin pot di vari stili,
molto differenti e improbabili tra loro.
Il progetto è opera del bassista “Bob Stoner” (Cardiac, Shelly webster trio,
Agatha, Delacroix, ) che si nasconde dietro vari pseudonimi per questo
progetto. La musica ha punti di riferimento nella no wave e nel dub/ ambient di
Jah Wobble e Bill Laswell, nel post rock lunare di Bark Psychosis, nella
sgangherata verve di Nina Hagen e nella spiritualità estrosa di Gavin Friday,
senza dimenticare l'uso della rumoristica di scuola Einsturzende Neubauten e la
folle psichedelia di Psychic TV.remove
