"Sipping on some Bombay / We on our way to heaven"
Elon Musk has released his debut single in memory of Harambe the gorilla.
‘RIP Harambe’, a Soundcloud rap ode to the much-loved gorilla, is seemingly the Tesla CEO’s first foray into music.

But as many have pointed out Musk shared the track just before April Fool’s Day, prompting fans to question its legitimacy.
Lyrics in the song include: “We love you Harambe” and “Sipping on some Bombay / We on our way to heaven”. Musk tweeted “I’m disappointed that my record label failed” and revealed that the track was released under the name Emo G Records.

Harambe entered internet culture in 2016 when he was shot dead after a child entered his enclosure at Cincinnati Zoo. The gorilla has been used in internet memes ever since his death.
Musk is known for his unconventional online presence, which includes him smoking marijuana on a live online chat show in 2016, and tweeting last July that the man who helped rescue 12 schoolboys trapped in a cave in Thailand was “a pedo”.
In recent months he has been under investigation for a stoner culture joke he made on Twitter suggesting that he would take his company private when its stock price hit $420 per share.
The comment caused Tesla shares to climb 11%, which the SEC lawsuit claimed was fraud for containing “false and misleading statements” as Musk “never discussed a going-private transaction at $420 per share with any potential funding source”.
