It’s always difficult to go back and look at the work you did five years ago,
but that’s just what The Fosters made its cast do to celebrate the show’s season 5 finale and 100th episode.
“I haven’t seen this in so long,” Maia Mitchell (Callie) says. “That haircut! Why?!”
“I like don’t even recognize myself,” Cierra Ramirez (Mariana) admits.
“We do a lot of laundry on this show,” Sherri Saum (Lena) realizes. (She’s not wrong — five kids means a lot of laundry.)
“We had instant chemistry from the beginning,” Teri Polo (Stef) says, choking up. “It’s just, it was love at first — I’m gonna cry — it was love at first sight. I love this woman and I don’t ever want to act with anybody else.”
The Fosters‘ two-hour season 5 finale and 100th episode airs Tuesday starting at 8 p.m. on Freeform. The show will return this summer for a short, three-episode series conclusion, which they just finished filming in Turks and Caicos last week. Mitchell and Ramirez, however, will be starring in a yet-to-be-named spin-off series.
