The singer-songwriter's in the legal hot seat...again.
Ed Sheeran is in the legal hot seat once again, but this time it's for his song, "Thinking Out Loud." According to TMZ, the UK singer-songwriter is being sued for using very similar melody, harmony and rhythmic compositions to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On."
The heirs of Ed Townsend, who co-wrote the 1973 tune with Marvin, have slammed Ed with the lawsuit. This is the second time Ed has been sued over a song from his 2014 album, X.
In June, two songwriters, who co-wrote "Amazing" for The X-Factor winner Matt Cardle, claimed that Ed also ripped off the tune for his song, "Photograph." And they are suing him for $20 million.
