Meat Loaf is recovering well after fainting onstage from “severe dehydration” during a performance in Edmonton, Alberta.
"His vital signs are stable and normal — he's responsive and recovering well," wrote his representative in a statement (via Rolling Stone). "He extends his heartfelt thanks for everyone's support and well wishes, and is expecting a speedy and full recovery. Any concert postponements/rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time."
The 68-year-old singer was performing his hit “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)” when he unexpectedly dropped his microphone and fell forward to the stage.
Meat Loaf had recently cancelled two other shows due to health issues.
