You can thank Jenji Kohan for this one!
First she introduced us to a suburban mom who sells ganja with Weeds, then she took us into the world of a female prison in Orange is the New Black, and now Jenji Kohan is set to bring us into the world of women's wrestling with a new show on Netflix.
Entitled GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), the show will be based on the actual pro women's wrestling show that aired in the 1980s. Netflix is set to show 10 episodes of the comedy, which will be set in Los Angeles and feature "big hair and body slams."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will center around an unemployed actress who tries to fulfill her dreams by putting on a weekly show about female wrestlers.
There's no set air date, but stay tuned for more details to come.
