And no one is surprised.
UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor tweeted his retirement on Tuesday afternoon, but it looks like all of the skeptics were right to question its legitimacy.
Lost among the news of Prince and Chyna's untimely deaths, McGregor's retirement also ceased on Thursday morning (this time, via a Facebook rant).
Apparently, getting pulled from UFC 200 wasn't part of McGregor's plan, and it looks like the fighter's power play backfired on him when the UFC decided they weren't playing games anymore. According to the post, McGregor just wants to focus on training and fighting, but the UFC hasn't announced whether he'll be back on the UFC 200 card or not.
