They did it all for the nookie.

Over 100 people showed up for a Limp Bizkit concert in Dayton, OH, according to local station WHIO. The problem was, these people ignored the band's statements saying the concert wasn't real.

Earlier this week, a man named Josh Baker created the Facebook event for a Limp Bizkit concert. He scheduled the "gig" for April 20, 2017, at a Dayton Sunoco gas station. Some people misread the invite and thought the gig was in 2016, as in last night. Others knew full well that this gig was fake, but played along anyway.

Because of the growing attention, both the city government and police issued out statements. So did frontman Fred Durst. The owners of that Sunoco took its phone off the hook and put up a sign saying, "This is someones [sic] idea of a joke." They even turned off all their lights in hopes of diverting potential concertgoers. Police showed up to stand guard. Yet people showed up anyway.
