In which Nicki revives a past, high-profile beef —"I said, 'Miley, what's good?'"

Memphis rapper Yo Gotti taunts the sorry men whose women message him in "Down in the DM," his first song to top Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. The official remix features Nicki Minaj, who is more than happy to join in on the fun. Not only does she tease those who dare approach her on social media, but she revives a past, high-profile beef: "Then he put his hands in my pants / felt them thick lips with that wood / He said, 'Kylie, what's good?' / I said, 'Miley, what's good?'"

Nicki is referring to the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, where she called out host Miley Cyrus for saying she "is not too kind" to The New York Times days prior. The way she snarled and pointed her manicured finger at Miley, only to crack a smile seconds later, made this confrontation seem staged, as if for the WWE. Thanks to this "Down in the DM" remix, however, Nicki makes it doubly clear that this beef is real. Listen at Audiomack.
