The teenage trio is poised to make a splash for decades to come.
While many teenagers spend their afternoons dreaming of being in a rock band, the Christopher Brothers have gone and done just that. Except, while many young bands never make it out of their garage, the Los Angeles-based siblings have become regular performers on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade and performed all over the Los Angeles area with appearances at Six Flags Magic Mountain and opening for Aaron Carter at the legendary Whisky a Go Go.
Cameron (drums and vocals), Charles (guitar and vocals), and Ethan (bass and vocals) Christopher began their career playing cover songs of both modern pop music and classic rock, but with the release of their latest album, Dog Daze, earlier this month, the Christopher Brothers now have enough of their own music to show the world their songwriting skills along with their performances.
With influences like the Beatles, Green Day, and the Hives, it shouldn't be a surprise that the Christopher Brothers could very well be the next generation of pop punk superstars, as the band is already in its sixth year of existence and shows no signs of slowing down.
Myspace chatted with all three of the Christopher Brothers among their busy schedule to discuss the new album, growing up in a band and what makes them stand out from every other young act in Southern California.

What's it like to be growing up while in an up-and-coming band in 2016?
It is a lot of hard work to make the most of every opportunity as well as to continue to improve on our musicianship and songwriting to get the fans and the music industry behind us.
Clearly, you're all musically talented brothers, but how did you decide to create a band with just the three of you?
We each were playing our instruments individually and then our mom asked us to play a song together. We learned "Black Magic Woman" in 15 minutes and she said, "Wow, you guys can be a band!" and that was it!
How did you decide what sound and style you were going to play?
We write however we feel that day and it tends to be our own style because it is coming organically from us without any other writers.
Is there any concert that stands out to you as cooler than the rest at this point?
Playing the Time Warner Center is New York City!
Have you learned anything valuable being together as a band?
People like to talk and not always do what they say. This takes great patience.
Since you're so young and still have such a big future in front of you, what are some of the long-term goals for you?
To have people love our music and be legends!
How do the three of you come up with your songs?
It varies, sometimes we get a melody in our head, sometimes we just play chords and it goes from there. We don't have a real structure process, it is just mostly organic between the three of us.
You just put out an album this month, what's next for the band?
We have lots of upcoming gigs and new music to share!
What would be your message to people who have never heard of you and don't know anything about you?
That we are awesome (says Charles) and the best band ever (says Cameron) and that this is our time (says Ethan)! We sound like our recordings. We are not overproduced. We are a bit old school, and we put on an amazing live show! Hope to see you all at our next show!
