It's been 17 years since The Mummy, starring Brendan Fraser, hit theaters. However, like many TV shows and films these days, it is getting a big facelift and is being remade for today's audience. Starring Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella and Russell Crowe, the film follows the same premise as the old one: a mummified Egyptian ruler is wreaking havoc on a major city, in this case, London. The Mummy is set to hit theaters on June 9, 2017.
