Following Paisley Park's tribute event announcement yesterday (November 29), there will also be a documentary biopic about Prince in the works for 2017 as well, according to Screen Daily.

Entitled Prince: R U Listening?, the film is supposed to look at the late artist's early life and rise to fame as seen by his former band members, close friends and family including Prince's first guitar player, Dez Dickerson, and his original bassist, Andre Cymone. Bono, Mick Jagger, Billy Idol, Lenny Kravitz and Sheila E. will also make appearances in the doc.

Prince: R U Listening? will be directed and produced by Michael Kirk and is set to premiere next year.
