After years of seeing LL Cool J host the Grammy Awards, 2017 marks the year he'll be handing the hosting duties over to James Corden. With the success of The Late Late Show With James Corden and his viral segment, Carpool Karaoke, Corden has proven he can entertain the masses with his humor and musical know-how. It seemed that the combo would make for a great host for next year's Grammys, and let's not forget that he did a very good job hosting The Tony Awards earlier this year.

"I am truly honored to be hosting The Grammys next year," he said (via Billboard). "It's the biggest, most prestigious award show in music, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night."
