And promptly began a Twitter feud with Taylor Swift.
The MTV Video Music Awards revealed its list of nominations for 2015 this morning and Nicki Minaj thinks that one video was accidentally left off. She took no time letting MTV know on Instagram that her collaboration with Beyoncé deserved a nod.
And on Twitter.
Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. 😘😘😘 Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or...?

The video was shot at Coachella in 2015 and shows Bey and Minaj eating hamburgers, playing with water guns, and looking all around fabulous. The music video premiered exclusively on Jay-Z's streaming service Tidal, but the company posted a 30-second teaser to YouTube so everyone could get a taste of its glory.
Minaj is also not happy with the fact that "Anaconda" was not nominated for Video of the Year after breaking VEVO's record for views in one day with 19.6 million hits within 24 hours of its release.
If I was a different "kind" of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. 😊😊😊

When the "other" girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Something indicates these smiley faces are intended to be ironic, and Taylor Swift thought the heat may have been meant for her after receiving a Video of the Year nomination for "Bad Blood."
@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

Minaj responded to clarify her comments were not about Swift, and even used a fan's tweet to explain her frustration toward MTV.
Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13

@taylorswift13 I'm still confused as to why u just tweeted me when I made it abundantly clear... pic.twitter.com/A5kJyi6fQC

Hopefully that cleared the air. "Anaconda" is still nominated for Best Female Video and Best Hip Hop Video. Vote for your favorite VMA-nominated videos now.
