The first rule of the 'Fight Club' rock opera is you do not talk about the 'Fight Club' rock opera. Oh, wait...
At the Fight Club panel at Comic-Con last week (yes, there'a a Fight Club panel at Comic-Con), author Chuck Palahniuk crushed fans hopes of a sequel but built them back up again by confirming a rock opera rendition of the cult novel is in the works.
As if that information isn't incredibly awesome all in itself, Palahniuk was recently on the Q&A With Jeff Goldsmith podcast and revealed director David Fincher (who directed the book's film adaptation) and Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor (who's scored a bunch of Fincher's films (but oddly enough, not Fight Club) will be working together on the production. Don't believe us? Check out Goldsmith's tweet about it below.
So @chuckpalahniuk told me he's working with David Fincher & @trent_reznor to do a #FightClub rock opera - an enhanced version of the film!
