Chris Brown was replaced by Nick Cannon for undisclosed reasons.
Comedy Central hopes to have Chris Brown on The Daily Show "soon" after his Tuesday night appearance was abruptly cancelled, according to The Washington Post. Neither the network nor the R&B singer have said why he was replaced by Nick Cannon without warning. However, The Daily Beast did hear that Daily Show staff was divided over whether to host Chris. Host Trevor Noah reportedly thought to talk domestic violence with Chris, now six years after he was convicted for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna, with hopes to "bring light" to such issues.
