Last month, we got a very brief taste of Marvel's newest Netflix series, Jessica Jones. Today, we got a healthy, nearly two-and-a-half-minute-long full trailer. And it's dark. Like, real dark.

The clip explains how Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) went from super hero to private detective and how her past, in particular a mind-controlling villain named Killgrave (David Tennant), has left her with some demons (and reasons to drink). Killgrave returns to Hell's Kitchen in NYC to wreak havoc and scout out our heroine, and it's up to miss Jones to stop him. Watch the full trailer below.

Netflix is releasing all 13 hour-long episodes of Jessica Jones on November 20, 12:01 am PST.
