A Beautiful Curse A BEAUTIFUL CURSE is the creation of musician/songwriter/producer Kenny James (George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars, 24-7 Spyz, Celldweller, The Samples, and many more). A Beautiful Curse is dream-music from the heart and soul. A collision of groove and mood for the senses. Like a car crash, it ain't always pretty but in this case, we hope you dig it.
Getting straight to the point, in business language, A Beautiful Curse will be re-branding. In artist-ese, A Beautiful Curse is re-discovering itself. In english, we're moving away from the imagery and sound that we've spent the past few years establishing.
The full length "A Scar Is Born" will not see the light of day. Although the songs were written during a year long stay in Afghanistan and worthy of being shared, trying to make all of those songs a reality now would be more about reminiscing which we would rather not do.
We're writing the theme song for the upcoming feature film Zohe and that song will be the first slight step into "the new" direction but in the meantime, feel free to pick up any of our prior releases in both download and physical form and/or grab some of our t-shirts, etc. as well at abeautifulcurse.bandcamp.com. And for those who prefer, we're available on iTunes as well.
