ZØRORMR was born at the turn of 2009/2010 on the ruins of the acclaimed, dark ambient project IA Serpentor.
During the cold winter of 2010 in the obscure walls of the Vatican Cellars Studio ZØRORMR recorded it’s debut album entitled “Kval”, containing 9 original mixtures of neoclassical, dark ambient and raw, basement black metal. Quazarre (DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS, ASGAARD) performed a guest solo on the song "Misanthropy". This collaboration has lead to much more in the coming years... The album was released in 2010 in Poland by Via Nocturna Records, and in Germany and in Russia with new artwork in 2011 under the wings of Sturmglanz Black Metal Manufaktur. “Kval” has received a number of positive reviews in the Polish and European media, confirming the birth of a new, significant force on the Polish black metal scene.
Less than two years after the premiere of "Kval" ZØRORMR begun recording the second album in it’s discography entitled "IHS". The material in every dimension was made to exceed "Kval". This time the drum machine was replaced with a real dummer, a young but well-known and experienced Polish metal drummer Icanraz that already recorded with both DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS and ABUSED MAJESTY throughout the years. He recorded his parts in the Studnia Studio in Bialystok. The guitars were recorded in the walls of Opole’s Red Dragon Studio and supervised by Quazarre, who also decorated the album with a few impressive leads. In addition, other guests joined the recording process: vocalists Cezar (CHRIST AGONY) and Shadow (BLACK ALTAR). The whole sound, mix and master was done by Wojtek “Flumen” Kostrzewa, known for his work of ASGAARD and HERMH making this almost 45 minutes of occult metal a whole in the late Winter of 2012.
At the end of the world, which was not yet to come, ZØRORMR with his album "IHS" signed a deal with an old and prestigious Polish stable: Seven Gates of Hell, which has decided to release this controversial material on the d 03/03/2013. The album, being a combination of the sound of the first wave of black metal, with formidable & sulphuric axes, violent vocals and uncompromising lyrics marks a new chapter in the history of ZØRORMR.
