ZEEKtheFREAK is a musical project created and built around Dundee musician Zeek. former frontman in the 70's of punk/comedy band theSNAP-brothers.

The musical genre is shock rock with a slice of punk and metal and with theatrical tendencies. Zeek has many costume changes during the show, that associate with the theme of the songs His music/ show was heavily influenced by bands such as Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa, the Tubes

BAND HISTORY In December of 1996. ZEEK Catweazle met a young musician called Bas Lute (the Rebel Jesus). Through the influence of Bas, started writing music and recording music again after a 10-year break.

In 1997, ZEEKtheFREAK decided he wanted to perform his music live and so a try-out gig was arranged as for support to the Great Giz's band the Bouncing Betty's. That was such a success, more gigs were arranged and through the years the name of ZEEKtheFREAK was starting be recognised in the Alkmaar area. There have been many personnel changes in the musicians who have a played

in theFREAKband, with the REBEL JESUS being the only person who has played with ZEEKtheFREAK since day one.
