Mexican singer, actress, and classic and modern dance teacher Laura León was discovered by director Emilio Fernández who gave her the opportunity to play a role in a movie called Zona Roja, soon, making her singing debut in a TV show called Noches Tapatías, hosted by Lola Beltran.
After releasing successful Yo No Soy Abusadora, Laura León became a local star, playing main roles in popular Latin soap operas -- such as Dos Mujeres, Un Camino, working alongside Erick Estrada -- and issuing El Premio Mayor and 1999's Mujeres Engañadas, released by EMI Latin. ~ Drago Bonacich
