WRINGS is an American alternative pop/rock band formed in Sacramento, California in 2011. The band comprises vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Zack Gray, lead guitarist Sean Stack, and drummer Brandon Lee.

WRINGS' music is a melancholic blend of alternative rock and electro-pop. With influences ranging from Coldplay, Radiohead, The Killers, U2, Muse, and Justin Timberlake Gray's lyrics convey the darker sides of relationships while still maintaining a "silver lining" positive message. Arjan Writes of Grammy.com describes the music as, "melancholic, atmospheric melodies and well-constructed soundscapes that are bursting with veiled optimism".

Having only been together for over a year, WRINGS have made some considerable strides. They have opened for notable acts; Imagine Dragons, Capital Cities, The Neighbourhood, AWOLNATION, Lindsey Pavao (NBC's "The Voice"), The Features, and K.Flay. They were chosen to perform on the finale show of Sacramento's annual "Concert in the Park" series (2012), with over 5000 in attendance. In January of 2013 they performed and were awarded "2012 Musician of the year" at the "Raw Awards" at The Belasco Theater (LA) in front of 2000+ in attendance. www.rawartists.org/rawards2012 - www.rawartists.org/rawards2012-show. Recently (8/21/13) WRINGS has released a 6 song EP titled "Phases" and it has already started gaining attention. The Single "Before I Went Away" just debuted on Sacramento's longest running local music show 98 Rock's (98.5) Local Licks on Sunday August 25th. "Phases EP" has also started to move up on the charts on ReverbNation and Band Camp. With a handful of fresh new material and a captivating live show, WRINGS is surely on the cusp of bigger things to come.
