The band consists of Dave Mazza (guitar and devices), John Dalton (bass), and Lou Per (drums).

WMF has a long and prolific series of cd releases. The band makes extensive use of live looping during their improvisational recording process. All of their songs are digitally recorded live in the moment with no additional overdubbing. What you hear on the record is what the band was playing live.

WMF's music is a reflection of the reality of living in Hawaii, as opposed to the story book tale presented by typical bands in the Hawaiian music genre. WMF celebrate being gaijin, fish out of water on a far away rock in the middle of the Pacific ocean.

WMF won an award for Hawaiian punk rock band of the year for their 2005 cd release Scary Beast, much to their amusement.
