Los Angeles based photographer Octavio Arizala has been photographing Glamour models, Fetish Vixens and Alt-chicks in a colorful and unique style which combines retro pinup art,60’s album cover kitsch with contemporary glamour styling.
His work has been licensed for use in novelty product, clothing designs, album art and advertising. As a full time Photographer, He’s worked with the the biggest names in glamour modeling as well as many new faces for several pinup/men’s publications and websites worldwide.Besides his photography work, he’s also shot and directed films for Vivid-Alt, which have been shown at film festivals is Los Angeles and Berlin.And of recent, has bee making a series of short documentaries on the Los Angeles Retro revival scene for independent networks.
In 2006, he released a coffee table book titled “MODERN VIXENS” Thru Goliath books,Berlin. Featuring many of the Pinup Photos that can be seen here.
