Formed in August of 2008, guitarist Ed Savoy & singer Joey Mauceri joined forces to fulfill the dream of a close friend that passed away in May of 2008. Shannon “Princess F’n Hacksaw” Maginn was a fixture in the East Coast underground metal scene and a dear friend of the individual members of what is now know as White Knuckle Battery. She dreamed of Ed & Joey working together and tried on several occasions to make it happen. Faced with the tragic loss of their beloved Princess, Ed & Joey put together a straight up, in your face, metal band that would make her proud and rock the world the way she knew it would. With Dave Fugman on bass & Jon Ward on drums, White Knuckle Battery wrote and recorded 20+ songs and toured the east coast club scene for a year and a half before taking a hiatus. Tragically on May 6, 2013, bassist Dave Fugman passed away due to diabetes complications. In August of 2013, Ed, Joey, Jon joined by Tom Schoppe on bass are back to writing and plan to record a third album for a 2014 release.
