Not to be confused with the 1980s thrash/speed-metal band of the same name, Warlord began as a side project for Roadside Monument bassist Jonathon Ford, issuing an eponymous EP in 1997.
When Ford chose to concentrate on his full-time gig, the group reorganized with a lineup of guitarist/vocalist Ricky, bassist Phil, and drummer Tim, and released the album Rock the Foe Hammer in 1999. ~ Steve Huey
