A one-man metal project originally slated to be known as Precious Metal (that is, until the former all-girl metal band that went by the same name requested that it be changed), Vverevvolf Grehv (while arguably a better name -- pronounced "werewolf grave" -- the "clever" spelling of it may have been a bit much, at least to some) was the brainchild of Omaha, NE, native and Faint guitarist Dapose (or Michael Dappen to friends and family).
The electro-metal project was started as a way for the guitarist to explore the more "metal" aspects of his aesthetic and sonic tastes and was -- eventually -- picked up by leading genre label Relapse soon after. The debut album from Vverevvolf Grehv, Zombie Aesthetics, was released in March of 2008. ~ Chris True
