Influenced by traditional and contemporary Vietnamese musics, and by jazz and Electro/House sounds, the collective of Viet Vo Da house (VVDH) was born in 2005 and gather Vietnamese and French musicians settled in Vietnam for a long time.
Offering a quite unique and merely explored musical fusion...pursuing a new sound...« We are actually under the charm of a multitude of sounds...those from traditional Vietnam...langorous and romantic, those from modern Vietnam...chaotic, electric and tumultuous...those from ethnic minorities,
mysterious and out of the beaten tracks....and of course those from the West, more exposed worldwide.

After the release in 2007 of their first EP (« Vhe Nha » ), that features a strong electro/house signature, the new material of the band (as per the new single « Ru Em ») takes a more uncluttured, spatious path...certainly more in line with the way the band plays Live. The journey continues....
