An Oberlin International Piano Competition prizewinner, Martin studied with Paul Schenly and Daniel Shapiro at the Cleveland Institute of Music where he received his Bachelor of Music degree. In May 2010, Martin received his Master of Music degree from the Yale School of Music, where he studied with Claude Frank. Currently he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the University of Southern California and studies with Stewart Gordon.
