The name “Vershki Da Koreshki” is a metaphor: the plant – organism with bottom and topparts (roots and leaves) that has to develop in both directions in order tolive. These directions: traditions andimprovisation.

"Vershki” – improvisation

“Koreshki” – traditionalmusic

It is influenced by Traditional music (Africa, Russia, Tuva,..) ,classical Indian, modern Russian /European music.

It is a meeting of different cultures, rhythms, languages, energies.
